{Weekly Wrap-up} The one that almost wasn’t

Monday, we took the day off, because the public schools were out. This meant that I had my two extra girls all day.  Tuesday, I told the kids we would start late, and I let them sleep in. About the time I was ready to get the school day started, one of my girls’ moms called and asked if I could get her daughter from school because she was sick. This mom is a PA so I picked EJ up and took her to her mom’s office. Later mom texted to tell me that EJ had a stomach bug. Wednesday, Isaac and Emma woke up complaining of upset stomachs.   So, they laid in bed all day long and did no school. Thursday, Emma still didn’t feel well and spent the day in bed again. Isaac was feeling better so he and Logan did some school.  Today (Friday) everyone is well, and we are completing a full day of school.  Hopefully, we will all be well and have a more productive school week next week. 

On a positive note, I was able to get quite a lot accomplished around the house.  Hello baseboards!! So, that was an unexpected plus!
