Read the Bible in 90 Days

First let me say HAPPY NEW YEAR!! To start the new year, I’ve decided to read the Bible from cover to cover over the next 90 days.

I admit it! I have never read the entire Bible from cover to cover. Honestly, I’m not sure I’ve read an entire book of the Bible from beginning to end. One of my goals for this year, however, is to read through the Bible in 90 days. I’m doing so as a part of the Mom’s Toolbox Read the Bible in 90 Days Challenge.See, I’m just not disciplined enough to do it on my own. But, with an accountability group, I’m more likely to get it done. I’ll be checking in weekly to report my progress or lack of it. I’ll be following others on Twitter (#B90Days) who are doing the challenge.

I’m really looking forward to it. My goal is to do it alone this time around, but next time I want Matt, Logan, and Isaac to do it with me. We can talk to each other about our progress and about what we’re learning. I may have Emma read through the New Testament at that time, too, but I haven’t decided. We’ll see.

I downloaded the Bible to my IPad so I can read it on the go (or in bed as I did this morning). It even has the 90-day plan on it so I can click on the ‘day’ and get that day’s reading assignment.

My family will also be working on some scripture memory throughout the upcoming year. But, that’s another post…
